Carpenter Bees
Heard parts of your show last week when you were discussing carpenter bees. I have a cedar house and have had them in my fascia boards on my screen porch. They even got in the tails of my exposed rafters. At first I just plugged the holes. But when sitting on my back porch, I could hear the rafter tails buzzing several days after plugging the holes. I decided some type of chemical warfare was needed.
I bought Delta Dust and a Centro bulb applicator on line. The applicator has a hook on the end of it which allows access to the "L" shaped tunnel that they create.

I hit each hole with the Delta Dust.

I then use 3/8" dowl material to plug their holes. Use exterior glue, plug the holes and trim the dowl flush.

I think I am ready for this years invasion!
