I really feel that everyone with a crawl space needs to be aware of how high humidity levels have been this 2010 summer. This creates various air quality issues for many people with older homes. Humidity is the reason mold and mildew grow and become a problem. It is all about balance. This year has seen many problems as a result of consistent high heat and humidity. Remember the temperature in your attic is between 120 and 150 degrees and Humidity levels are ridiculous. If you have folding pull down attic stairs in the conditioned space of your house, you are loosing energy and money. It is tremendous.
